Terms & Conditions

These terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Business Terms (for venues and organisers) and the Contact page. If they conflict, the Refund and Cancellation Policy governs refunds and the Privacy Policy governs personal data.

LTP is a platform where players find each other, post and join real-world sports challenges, record results and a rating, follow live scores, and book turfs and buy event tickets.

Venues and organisers ("Partners") are independent businesses. LTP does not own, run, staff, supervise or insure any turf, match, event or meetup. When you book a turf or buy a ticket, the sports service is provided by the Partner, and the contract for it is between you and that Partner. LTP is the marketplace that shows it, collects your payment through Razorpay, and arranges for the Partner's share to be transferred to the Partner. LTP is an "intermediary" for what users and Partners post.

You must be 18 or older. We collect your date of birth to check. Give accurate information, keep your account to yourself and use one account per person. You are responsible for what happens on it. An account found to belong to someone under 18 is closed and its data deleted.

• Who you contract with. The Partner. The Partner's legal name and contact details are shown on the booking or ticket screen and on your confirmation.
• What you see before you pay. The price, taxes, any convenience fee shown separately, and the Partner's cancellation and refund terms.
• Holds. When you start a booking or ticket purchase we hold the slot or seat for a short time, shown on a countdown. If you do not pay in time the hold ends.
• Confirmation. A booking or ticket is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive the confirmation in the app. Keep your QR ticket safe: whoever shows it at the gate can be admitted.
• At the venue. Follow the Partner's rules and staff instructions. A Partner may refuse entry or end your session for unsafe conduct, breach of its rules or use of a ticket that is not yours, and refunds in that case are the Partner's decision.
• Ticket holders. If you give another person's name and contact for a ticket, you confirm they agree, and you will tell them about our Privacy Policy.
• Splitting a booking. When a booking is split among players, each player pays only their share, and the app shows who has paid.

Prices are in Indian rupees and include the taxes shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay using its own payment screen; LTP does not see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. The payment is collected by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. Razorpay transfers the Partner's share to the Partner's linked account, and that share never passes through LTP's own bank account; LTP's fee goes to LTP. LTP may instruct Razorpay to delay a transfer while a refund window, dispute or chargeback is open. Pay only inside the app; LTP is not responsible for money you send anywhere else.

A convenience fee, if any, is LTP's own charge to you, is shown separately before you pay, and carries tax where the law requires. If your payment fails, is declined or is debited without a confirmed booking or ticket, see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy. In summary: if a Partner cancels, an event does not take place, or conditions make it unsafe, you get a full refund, including any convenience fee. Otherwise the refund depends on the terms shown before you paid. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

LTP is not a betting, wagering, gambling or real-money gaming service, and must not be used as one. No money or thing of real value is ever staked on the result of a match through LTP.

• Forfeits are small social gestures agreed between players and settled offline, face to face: a round of chai, pushups, carrying the kit, a lap of the ground, posting the loss. Forfeits of cash, or of anything of real value, are prohibited. LTP never holds, escrows, processes, transfers, guarantees or takes a commission on anything connected to a forfeit, and does not enforce them.
• Booking and ticket payments are not stakes. A booking payment is the price of using a court. A ticket or event entry fee is the price of attending or taking part. Neither is paid into a pot and neither is paid out to a winner.
• Prizes. LTP does not run, fund, hold or pay out prize money. A Partner may offer prizes from its own funds, at its own responsibility and in line with the law. A prize must not be paid out of, advertised as, or calculated as a share of the entry fees collected through LTP (no "winner takes the pot"), and no pool of players' money may be paid to winners.
• Do not use LTP to arrange or settle monetary stakes. Accounts used that way are suspended under section 14. You remain responsible for making sure your own arrangements are lawful.

A player scores a match on a phone. The score is worked out on our servers from what the scorer records. Ending a match proposes a result; the other captain then confirms it through the result flow, and a disputed or unconfirmed result may not count toward ratings. Scores, ratings and records are informational and carry no monetary value.

The scorer may turn on a public link so anyone with it can follow the match and see the names on the scorecard. Turn it on only if the people named are content for that, and never put personal details in a guest name. You can turn the link off at any time, and links already shared then stop working. Public match pages are not offered to search engines by us, but a link you share is public to whoever receives it.

Sport carries a risk of injury, and meeting people you found online carries its own risks. You choose your opponents, venues and events, and whether to attend, voluntarily and at your own risk. Check venues, bring your own equipment and insurance, and meet in public places. To the maximum extent the law allows, LTP is not liable for injury, property damage, disputes or other harm arising from matches, events or meetups arranged through the app, or from a Partner's premises or conduct. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by LTP's own negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You own what you post. You give LTP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it to operate and promote the service. Post only what you have the rights to. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience: no fake or paid reviews, and no reviews of a venue by its owner or staff. We may remove content, and restrict or suspend accounts, including through our report and takedown process, where content or conduct breaks these terms or the law. Every user can block and report other users and content. We remind you of these rules at least once a year. If someone complains that content shows them in a sexual act or impersonates them, we remove or disable it within 24 hours of the complaint, and we act on lawful orders within the time the rules require.

You must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit or share anything that:

• depicts, promotes or relates in any way to child sexual abuse or the exploitation of minors. This is strictly prohibited, is removed at once, leads to a permanent ban and is reported to the authorities;
• belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
• is obscene, pornographic, invasive of another's privacy, defamatory, hateful, or promotes discrimination or violence;
• harms a child in any way;
• infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
• deceives or misleads about where a message comes from, or impersonates another person;
• contains software that can damage or disrupt any computer;
• is patently false and untrue, or misinformation likely to mislead or cause harm;
• threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, or is otherwise unlawful;
• promotes gambling, betting or stakes of money.

No harassment, hate, threats or impersonation, on or off the court. No spam, scraping, reverse engineering or interfering with the service. Play fair: report honest results, respect opponents, and turn up for what you accept. Rating integrity: manipulating ratings through collusive matches, duplicate accounts or false results is prohibited. We may adjust ratings, void matches, apply automated integrity and rate-limit systems, and suspend offenders. False or bad-faith reporting and repeated no-shows lower your reliability score and can lead to suspension.

LTP+ is an optional membership; its features are described in the app when offered. Where it is free or promotional, that access can be changed or ended at any time. If it is paid, billing, renewal and refunds follow the rules of the app store you buy through, and prices may change going forward with notice. LTP+ never affects match outcomes or ratings.

You can delete your account in the app at any time, or at losertopay.com/delete-account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms; suspension is the default and permanent removal is for serious cases, and we tell you why unless the law prevents it. What happens to your data on deletion is in the Privacy Policy (section 7). Sections 7, 9 and 15 to 18 survive ending.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Ratings, reliability scores and match records are informational and carry no guarantee of accuracy. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, or that a Partner will perform. Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

To the maximum extent the law allows, LTP's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and INR 1,000. This does not limit liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our obligation to refund money under the Refund and Cancellation Policy, or any liability that cannot be limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law. LTP is not liable for a Partner's acts or omissions, which are the Partner's responsibility.

You will indemnify LTP against claims and losses arising from your content, your conduct, or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please complain to us first: write to the Grievance Officer (see the Contact page). We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee (gac.gov.in) within 30 days. Subject to any right you have to approach a consumer commission, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes in the app or by email before they take effect, and continuing to use LTP afterwards means you accept them. We give notices to the email or in-app inbox linked to your account. If a part of these terms is unenforceable the rest stays in force.
