Delete your account

You can delete your LTP account and personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need to contact us first.

From the app

Fastest

Open LTP and go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. Your account and personal data are removed straight away.

By email

If you cannot sign in, email support@losertopay.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include your username so we can find the account.

We verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything. This protects you from someone else deleting your account.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

Your profile: name, username, email, phone number, date of birth, city, photo, banner, About Me and self-reported experience
Your challenges, events and 24-hour notes
Your match history, rating, tier and reliability record
Your direct messages and group chat messages
Your social graph: friends, follows, endorsements you gave and received, and team memberships
Your uploaded images and your saved location
Your push notification token, so notifications stop

Deletion cascades across our database. It is not a deactivation or a hidden account, and it cannot be undone. If you want your match record, save it before you delete.

What we keep, and why

Moderation and safety records. If your account was reported, suspended or actioned, we keep a limited record of that. Deleting it would let a banned user return by making a new account, which puts other players at risk.

Records the law requires us to keep. Where Indian law obliges us to retain something for a set period, we keep only that, for only that long.

Backups. Copies may persist in encrypted infrastructure backups until those roll off on our provider's normal cycle. They are not used to restore a deleted account.

Content other players created that mentions you (for example, the result of a match you played) may remain as part of their record, without your personal details attached.

How long it takes

In the app: immediate. The cascade runs as soon as you confirm.

By email: we acknowledge within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Questions or complaints

Write to support@losertopay.com. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and resolves them within 15 days, as required by the Information Technology Rules, 2021. Full detail on what we collect and why is in our Privacy Policy.
