How a football challenge works

A football challenge on LTP is a full 11-a-side match, though open challenges for five-a-side and other small-sided games are common too. Post a challenge with your team's size, agree a ground and kickoff time with the other captain, then play the match for real.

Live scoring and the result

One phone runs live scoring for the whole match: goals, cards and the clock, updated in real time for anyone watching. When the final whistle goes, either captain proposes the score, including a draw, and the other confirms it before ratings move.

Booking a turf

Football needs a full-size or five-a-side turf, so book one straight from the challenge screen: pick a ground near the match time, see which pitches are actually free, and pay your share before kickoff.
