How a chess challenge works
A chess challenge is a straight 1v1: agree a time control and where you are meeting with your opponent, then play it out over the board, in person, exactly as you would anywhere else.
Reporting the result
Whoever wins reports the result and the other player confirms it, and a genuine draw, by agreement or stalemate, is recorded as a draw, not a loss for either side. There is no live, move-by-move scoreboard on LTP.
Where you play
Chess does not need a turf or a court, so there is nothing to book through LTP for most games: you and your opponent simply pick a place, such as a park, a cafe or a club, and play.
